The Monomaniacal Democrats

A Fascist King? Last Saturday, I went to our local “No Kings” demonstration in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.  The protesters were on one side of the street, and the Trump supporters were on the other, cheering and chanting as cars drove by, honking, waving flags, and making various hand gestures.  I saw this event as an excellent opportunity to provide constitutional education to the crowds, so I printed over 100 information sheets on our Constitution to hand out to the demonstrators.  

I started out on the Democrat side, offering an information sheet on our Constitution.  I was surprised by the kindness of most of the people, who took the offered information sheet and thanked me.  Of course, a few said they did not need it.  One was holding a sign that read “Save Our Democracy,” which indicated that she needed a constitutional education more than she realized. 

One of the foundations of the leftist mindset is that three-word lie: save our democracy.  Our government is not and never has been a democracy.  Yet, the masterminds of the democrat party have inculcated this dishonest message into the minds of millions of trusting souls.

There were lots of signs that accused Trump of being a fascist.  The fact is that communism and fascism are governments of extreme control over the citizenry, but fascism allows businesses to remain privately owned while it controls them. Communism owns all the companies.  I have read that Stalin claimed that the Nazi government was not genuine socialism, because it relinquished ownership to private individuals.  Fascism is a big step away from our design of government toward communism.

Can you name one time that our President subjected a large part of our private sector businesses to government control?  Such a move would be big news and was!  It was the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.  

In case you haven’t noticed, Obamacare did not make care affordable, and few people were able to keep their doctors.  It was a big scam from the beginning.  But, to many, it’s excusable. 

What worried me the most at this demonstration was the hatred that they showed for President Trump.  Again, their emotions are based on the lies delivered by their party, that Trump is acting like a king, that he’s a racist, and that he is a fascist.

In Chicago this last week, a woman, a teacher, gestured that Trump should be shot in the neck.  Another demonstrator said that Stephen Miller should be killed. Then there was a man holding a Trump Piñata, inviting people to bash it.  A child joined in, and the crowd cheered his hits.  

Now, what is that other group that teaches their children to hate? Oh, yes!  Hamas!  That group with many Free Palestine activists here in America.  Hatred is their bonding agent. 

Several signs the democrats displayed claimed that Trump was hateful while alluding that the democrats are not.  But the democrats were the ones displaying the hatred; their lack of political knowledge and the unending prompts by the democrat party sustain their hatred. Their hatred continues to grow, resulting in assassination attempts on Trump, the murder of Charlie Kirk, shootings, and threats against several other republicans.    

There’s nothing like that in the conservative groups. 

The democrats’ obsession with killing starts in the womb and is increasing to include their political enemies.  Their only pro-life focus is for our government to stop carrying out executions for convicted murderers. 

That is truly ironic.  

Books have been written about this behavior, this monomaniacal obsession with destroying one person. What we are now witnessing began when Donald Trump pulled off one of the greatest political upsets, winning the presidency over Hillary Clinton.   

That shocked the nation and reduced the democrat faithful to actual tears, who then refused to accept their loss.  Thus started their war of revenge: the investigations, the false charges, the ridiculous impeachments, the constant attacks on a respectful President, the pleas by democrat members of Congress to get in the faces of republicans.   It became the Captain Ahab moment for their party.  Their loss became the peg leg the Democratic Party wears as a constant reminder of its defeat.  

Their loss cannot be undone; revenge has become their chosen course.  The danger is that they don't care if they take the nation down with them.   

It happened to Captain Ahab. His obsession ended up destroying the entire ship and all but one of his crew, who survived by clinging to a floating coffin—another ironic moment.  

The democrats can repeat Ahab’s final words as he failed to kill the white whale: “From Hell’s Heart, I stab at thee!  For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee!”  Does this sound familiar?  

When the democrats care more about their nation than their need for revenge, our nation will improve. My suggestion is that they start educating themselves on our Constitution’s design.  The Federalist Papers and Washington’s Farewell Address are good starters. They are free on the Internet.
