ACLU - - Enemy of the Republic?

At the White House Correspondents' Dinner last week, President Trump got in several zingers about the media. But my favorite was a top-notch comedy moment when the President compared CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins to the Bud Light female impersonator Dylan Mulvaney. On TV, you could see reactions of many diners, who were wide-eyed and suppressing smiles. Zing!



I cherished the moment. For decades, the corporate media has favored the democrats, or whatever they are now, and stigmatized every republican. Well, John McCain received some favorable treatment -- until he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. But you may count on their red carpet tongues when dealing with democrats and Dragon's breath when questioning republicans. Trump is the first to turn the tables on them.

Blame the Trial Attorneys?

I have read that one can measure a society's decay by the number of civil lawsuits filed by its citizens. Now the weirdness factor, brought about by this transsexual revolution, has increased the number of civil lawsuits.

Many societies have had strange groups, but they never have had the prominence and the power that they possess today, especially when they are letting grown men compete in women’s sports. How did they get that power? Could it be the trial attorneys?

This week I received a survey from the American Civil Liberties Union. It claimed they are fighting the militarization of our cities, fighting the Trump administration’s attacks on our civil liberties and the Trump administration’s efforts to bypass immigration law and accelerate mass deportations without due process, and the attacks on our First Amendment rights, voter suppression, the right to protest, transgender rights….and on and on and on. 

The ACLU keeps referring to some acts, such as abortion, as constitutional RIGHTS (they are not). But the ACLU frames those issues in a way that agitates their community into making donations to their seditious organ.

The fundraising letter had an ending worthy of a drummer’s rimshot: “Sincerely, Anthony D Romero, Executive Director, Pronouns: he, him, his.”

So, what is the purpose of the ACLU? In the old movie “The American President,” (which was actually a pro-Clinton propaganda film) Michael Douglas, playing the president, said that the sole purpose of the ACLU is to defend the Bill of Rights….and uphold the Constitution.

Sounds good, doesn’t it? But it was, and still is, a big lie, possibly the biggest lie ever to come out of Hollywood. 

Just for a start, the ACLU is pro-abortion, which they euphemistically refer to as a reproductive right that SCOTUS should have protected. They have opposed the Constitution's clear message that items which are not in the Constitution are subject to the states’ decisions or the people in general. 

What? Each state decides on its own? ACLU doesn’t like that. 

They did little as President Biden opened our borders, which was a blatant violation of Article IV, Section 4 of our Constitution. He facilitated an invasion; they shrugged. And now, by using lawsuits and inspiring protesters, the ACLU is hindering every enforcement mechanism of ICE; they are helping sustain this foreign invasion.

It gets worse. They are not just sustaining the invasion; they are turbo-charging it with their fight against what they call “voter suppression.” On their website, they write, “After the 2020 presidential election, legislators introduced more than 400 bills in nearly every state, aimed at restricting access to the franchise, primarily in communities of color.” And “The onslaught has not abated. In 2023, lawmakers introduced at least 356 anti-voter bills.” 

These are not anti-voter bills. They are proposed systems to ensure that only citizens of the United States vote in our elections. The ACLU and the democrat party do not want that. One of their Senators, Elissa Slotkin, claimed that passing the SAVE Act, which requires identification to vote, would allow Trump to rig the election to a point where no democrat could get elected. 

She was basically admitting that the democrats need illegal votes to win.

If our nation is going to survive, some discipline is necessary. Helping invaders to determine our nation’s laws and leaders is not a civil liberty; it is sedition at least, treason at most. 

I suggest a name change to the American Communist Litigation Union.
