Name that Movie!  Blogger Don Surber posted this yesterday:

   “ICE just arrested 243 illegal aliens in Denver, Colorado.   “Among them: murderers, child rapists, human traffickers, drug dealers, thieves, and Tren de Aragua members.”

   Mayor Hedley Lamarr denied recruiting these rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists.    

Name that movie!

Two weeks ago, I wrote about how a political faction has taken over today’s Democratic Party; it is no longer the same party of John F. Kennedy’s.  The party has been taken over by a group that wants to fundamentally transform our nation, as Barack Obama said just days before he was elected as president.

Since his first day in office, President Obama has orchestrated the communizing of our nation.  His first big step in this direction was the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.  By giving the government control over a large portion of our nation’s businesses, it was a significant step into fascism, but shy of their eventual target of communism.  

Months later, he criticized the free-enterprise foundation of our economy, claiming that “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”  He meant the government made that happen, not understanding that private enterprise existed long before any government. 

That is how the communist mind works. Sadly, it was working from our Oval Office.

This week, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, produced documents that showed Obama and his inner circle had engaged in a conspiracy to use false claims to damage the reputation and political activities of Donald Trump, before and after he took office as President.  

DNI Gabbard:

“The stunning revelations these intelligence documents expose should concern every American. There is irrefutable evidence detailing how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an Intelligence Community Assessment that they knew was false, promoting the contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, as though it were true. The documents we released shows how they did it: manufacturing findings from shoddy sources, suppressing evidence that disproved their false claims, disobeying IC tradecraft standards, and withholding the truth from the American people,” said DNI Gabbard. “In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people and worked with their partners in the media to promote this lie to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump. This kicked off what would essentially be a yearslong coup against President Trump which included federal investigations, two impeachments, FBI raids on his home, arrests of senior officials, smears and harassment of President Trump and his family, and more. The American people deserve the truth, accountability and justice. The integrity, and therefore the future of our democratic republic demands it.”

Information about Hillary Clinton is included in the documents provided by Gabbard, including data that Russian President Vladimir Putin desired Hillary to win because he knew he could manipulate her.

The material about Hillary Clinton that Putin chose not to release before the election, included possible criminal acts, including:

“Details of secret meetings with multiple named US religious organizations, in which State Department representatives offered – in exchange for supporting Secretary Clinton – “significant increases in financing” from Department funds and “the patronage” of State in dealing with ‘post-Soviet countries.”

DNC emails detailing that Hillary Clinton suffered from “psycho-emotional problems,” “uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.” Clinton was allegedly on a daily regimen of “heavy tranquilizers,” and while she was afraid of losing, she remained “obsessed with a thirst for power.”

Remember when Hillary was Secretary of State for Obama? Remember her private email server?  I consider her a traitor to our nation.

Now, here I must wonder what exactly is the role of the Secret Service?  They knew of the Clintons’ perversions, drug habits, health and psychological problems, illegal activities, yet they have said nothing?  I believe they have sworn an oath to our Constitution, not the Clintons.

As we learn more about the corruption from the Obama/Clinton group, I wonder if we are going to see any prosecutions of these people.  I am concerned about this because, despite the seriousness of these revelations, the leftist media is not showing the concern or anger that they should. Instead, the media is fighting back.  Notice the key words they use in framing the dialogue in this AP release:

The Associated Press reported 

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump rehashed longstanding grievances over the Russia investigation that shadowed much of his first term, lashing out Tuesday following a new report from his intelligence director aimed at casting doubt on long-established findings about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 election.

“It’s time to go after people,” Trump said from the Oval Office as he repeated a baseless claim that former President Barack Obama and other officials had engaged in treason.

Over 230,000 pages of documents have been turned over to the Department of Justice; let’s see what charges it brings.

Women’s Basketball: Some of you may know that I have worked with women’s basketball for over thirty years, including our Olympic teams.  The above photo is of the University of Tennessee coaches Micki DeMoss and a coach who became a friend, the late Pat Summit. Pat was the coach of our 1984 Gold Medal-winning Olympic Basketball team. Here I wish to thank Adri for sending me the book about Coach Summit.  It brought back some great memories.

Typically, at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, we held several women’s team trials before the men's trials; I got to see the difference between the two events, it was substantial:  The men’s games were much faster and far more physical than the women’s games. I saw scrimmages between local men’s YMCA teams and our future women’s Olympic team; the women didn’t stand a chance against a pick-up team.  Although today’s women are trying to keep up with the thug-ball style of the men, it’s not working. That is why Caitlin Clark’s finesse has brought a new spirit to the sport.

Yet now the women of the WNBA are complaining about their pay, despite their entire organization being unable to support itself. They rely on a sort of welfare funding from the NBA, which makes a profit. The NBA needs to minimize or stop its support of the WNBA.  It is sending the wrong message to the players and our society.

Warning:  If you have a Sig Sauer P320 pistol, also known as the military M-18, you need to read about the malfunctions and problems with its design.  I’m reading mixed reviews, so I will leave it up to you.

Gold Medal Wedding: The wedding photo above features World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kristina Vogel and her husband, Michael. I met Kristina before the London Olympics.  Her German track cycling team was then training in Colorado Springs, and I found that Kristina was always friendly.  Years later, we still exchange emails. 

Kristina and her cycling partner, Miriam Welte, won the Gold Medal at the London Olympics in 2012. Seven years later, she crashed while training, paralyzing her from the breast down.  You now see her in a wheelchair. Despite her injury, she has continued to be a positive force in track cycling.

I wish them both the best in life!
