The Seditious Six & M.T.G.
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s leaving Congress was a little surprising; her closing remarks were not.
Here’s why:
Many years ago, I listened to a local congressman explain that after he was elected, he was under constant supervision by his political party; he was very frustrated. He wanted to make a difference but could not. He finished his one term, then left the work to someone else.
MTG is frustrated as well.
But why is MTG suddenly leaving, abandoning her two-year commitment to her constituents?
How many of you remember the term SCUTTLEBUTT? It used to mean a barrel of water on a ship for the sailors’ refreshment, but in the last hundred years, the Navy and Marines have used it to identify informal, unverified gossip.
The scuttlebutt about MTG’s quitting is that she was involved in stock deals that made her lots of money, and that one of her staff members was communicating with reporters about them. If this is true, she’s far behind the other master trader in Congress, Nancy Pelosi, who is also abandoning the ship of congress.
I don’t expect the democrat party to do anything about Pelosi, but Green’s being a republican may leave her open to media attacks, which may explain why MTG has been critical of Trump and was recently on the cackle-fest known as The View.
A special election will decide who will replace her. If you listen carefully, you can hear the democrat headquarters printing up thousands of fake ballots.
The Parade of Sedition, Racism and Victimization
Remember when Bill Clinton said “It depends on what the meaning of “is” is? His statement served notice that Clinton was a legalistic word player, seeking to confuse any issue with wordplay. A couple of days after he explained the is-is statement, the Wall Street Journal published one of my favorite letters, which I will paraphrase:
Wait! Is is still is? Or is is no longer is?
Because if is is no longer is, what is is?
Is is now was?
But the present debate is not about “is,” it is about the definition of “sedition.”
When the Seditious Six (Elissa Slotkin, Senator Mark Kelly, and Representatives Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, Chrissy Houlahan and Jason Crow) made their video about members of our military having the duty not to obey illegal orders, they deliberately did not cite which orders, if any, were illegal. They let the assumption do its work, and the media and the faithful democrats ran with the fantasy.
They knew that President Trump would respond; he had to. Now, keeping in mind that the plural article for “is” is “are,” I can say that their remarks are seditious.
The beauty of their seditious campaign is how the democrats are manipulating the issue by using the maximum punishment for sedition, the death penalty. Trump wants to kill veterans!
This sedition issue was created to take the focus away from the many powerful democrats who were customers of Epstein Island.
I wish the republicans were as good at political wordplay as the democrats, but the press would not play along….
This will be the last newsletter for a couple of weeks. I need to finish my new book.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Steve
