The King Has No Cloture
Today, our nation is seeing several “NO Kings!” rallies in select cities. This latest subject, No-Kings, is an inbred cousin of the other cult management systems developed by the leftist democrats, such as NoICE, Black Lives Matter, De-Fund the Police, Stop the Oligarchy, and AntiFA, all of which take their turns in the national spotlight.
I wonder how many people would show up if all these groups had a combined demonstration? Are these the same people rebranded and re-masked for each event? Despite all the different names and causes, they do have one major element in common: They HATE our Constitutional form of government.
Two of these groups, NoICE and De-Fund the Police, are blatantly opposed to the enforcement of our laws; Stop the Oligarchy and NoKings come close to that process. Black Lives Matter and AntiFA are properly terrorist groups because of their violence.
It is evident that the people who honor our constitutional form of government have no such hate groups. Nancy Pelosi tried to create one during the January 6 events; thanks to her lapdog media, she has convinced many people of that. But her committee that was in charge of the investigations (I use that word loosely) deleted and destroyed all the records of their meetings. How convenient!
And now her winged monkey democrats are blocking the SAVE Act, a law that would require proper identification of voters. Here is where I explain something that we must understand.
The Senate has different rules from the House of Representatives. It encourages debate by having a cloture vote, a formal process that states that the debate is finished. It requires sixty votes. So, to have control of the Senate, a party needs sixty votes.
The Senate sometimes gets around that process by a Senator asking for unanimous consent on a piece of legislation. If all members agree, cloture is unnecessary, and the proposal moves to a vote by the Senate. But if one senator objects to the unanimous consent, a cloture vote is necessary.
Many polling services show that our citizens favor voter identification by a massive margin, yet the democrats are fighting it. If they can’t cheat, they can’t win.
