Saturday (4-25-26), there was another shooting at a presidential event. I believe it will not be the last, because the faction controlling the democrat party wants Trump out of office, so it has been encouraging others to disrespect him and his officers and to take whatever actions they deem necessary.
The order to disrespect Trump and his followers was powerful. Remember when Nancy Pelosi tore up President Trump’s copy of the State of the Union address—right in front of him and the entire world? It was a strong message that Trump should be disrespected.
That was just the start. Planned well ahead of time. I wish that Trump’s copies of the speck were printed on Tyvek paper; impossible to tear up
Imagine the rage in the press if Newt Gingrich had done that to one of Bill Clinton’s SOTU speeches.
We have not heard any of the democrat leaders stand up and say that violence and murder are not the solution to their problems. It would be hard for them to do so when their party is firmly pro-abortion and some of their leaders have openly called for violence against republicans, especially Maxine Waters, who has encouraged protesters to be more confrontational. Hakeem Jeffries said at a press conference: "We are in an era of maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time."
They are actively driving up their followers' anger, which invites violence. That is why we have these shootings.
The fact is that there are victims created by Trump’s policies. But the democrat leadership wants people to think that it is the common folk of America who are suffering from the man they call the fascist, the authoritarian, the pedophile, or the convicted felon who sits behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office and submits reams of executive orders designed to destroy our democracy.
But those common folk are not the victims of Trump’s politics; they are the beneficiaries of his cleaning up the massive fraud in government spending. Several months ago, the Department of Government Efficiency uncovered over $215 billion in fraud that had grown during Biden’s presidency! That amount was from January 2026. It has grown since then.
Welfare fraud was revealed; hospice fraud, Medicare fraud… and the list has kept growing, especially in democrat California. Where was all that unaccountable money going? Obviously, to friends of the SWAMP. Billions of dollars just do not disappear.
That is why the democrats in Congress are so mad. Trump has destroyed their corrupt system that has put billions of dollars into their political machine. I have a sense that they were paying off reporters, newspapers, news networks, and government agents with those funds.
The democrat party is not democratic. It is now controlled by a communist faction that is working to end our republic.
Patriot Time: Last Saturday, I drove to Phoenix and gave a speech to the Saguaro Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. They are an active, patriotic group focused on our nation’s heritage; most of them wear colonial dress for special events.
My talk, “The Character and Characters of our Constitution,” was well-received, and a couple of questions stumped me. I will have to study up on the constitutional course of the nation following the civil war. The learning never ends.
By the way, a few nights ago I killed a 6-inch scorpion just outside my front door. It was a sandal stomp that did him in.
