If you have been watching the news, you know that the swamp is marshalling its forces to stop any attempt at making our federal government smaller and more accountable.  They are getting nasty, attacking the Maga movement as an enemy of our democracy and all its adherents as deplorable.  This will be covered in the next newsletter.  

Let’s get to the readers’ opinions.

Thanks to all who responded to my question of what the first three official acts of President Trump’s should be.  Closing the borders and building the wall were at the top of the lists, along with drill, baby drill for oil.  Here are some of the interesting suggestions:

• English as the official language of the federal government

• Declassify the client lists of Epstein and the anti-Trump FBI/DOJ agents.  Clean house

• Make the Military great again

• Make Law Enforcement great again

• Deport illegal immigrants.  Create laws that punish those who harbor them.

• Federal Hiring Freeze

• Close the Department of Education.  

• Create a zero-based budget system for the federal government, abandon current services baseline budgeting.  

• Support any nation that is fighting terrorism

• January 6 commission must be investigated and if crimes uncovered, prosecuted.  Issue pardons for those wrongly in prison.

A few of my ideas, not mentioned in some of the emails I have received:

• At Trump’s inauguration, make a presidential request that all high schools require a course on our constitutional government, teaching our students the difference between our constitutional republic and the failures of democracies and the dangers of debt.

• Build national defense refineries in several states, exempting them from frivolous lawsuits.  

• Plan for more nuclear powerplants.  Streamline the process.

• Decentralize the federal agencies and the DC monopoly by putting the federal headquarters in different states.

• Declare the open borders as an act of insurrection.

• Declare rioting during an inauguration as an act of insurrection.

• Investigate the funding stream and the decision process of Biden’s opening the borders

• Propose a “Truth in Authorship” law that would require the names of the writers of any proposed legislation be affixed to every part they write.  

Returning aliens to their homestead will create legal challenges; I’m sure that some law firms are getting ready to fight any attempted repatriation; and the news channels are designing articles about all the victims the move will create.

I suggest that our government ask for volunteers first, guaranteeing them safe transit back to their nation and possibly give them a few dollars as well.  

When Trump tries to clean up any government system, the SWAMP will claim that he is being vengeful, when he is being patriotic and prudent, like they were with him.  Steve Bannon is warning us that the democrats are already working on plans to take over the House of Representatives in two years and then impeach Trump again.  

Some good news:  A year ago Donald Trump proposed a big, year-long celebration as our nation recognizes the 250 year anniversary of our Declaration of Independence.

December 1, 2024 On Monday, an 18-story building in San Francisco will be formally dedicated as the “Speaker Nancy Pelosi Federal Building.”  It was built in 2007 and has housed many federal offices for years. To note the new name on the building, it will have its signage changed, sort of getting a new facelift. Wow!  My last newsletter produced zero replies.  Usually, I have ten or more responses within a day from sending a newsletter out, but I received no response from what I thought was an important subject. Maybe it wasn’t a good message for Thanksgiving. Computers:  I have an Apple MacBook Pro, an excellent computer.  But with Apple’s new update, the dictation system is near perfect.  As you talk, it types what you said.
