The Constitutionist Free Newsletter -- Items, Opinions and News gathered from everywhere Steven Maikoski constitutionist@protonmail.com December 26, 2024 It has been evident that President Biden has been on a cognitive decline for years.  Now we read that in the last few days this outgoing president has signed many new bills, most naming post offices and federal buildings. Who told him to sign them? My favorite of those many bills was the Eliminate Useless Reports Act, designed to cut out frivolous paperwork.  Perhaps during the four years we will have the Eliminate Useless Government Agencies Act, to do the same with government bureaus. President Biden has also commuted the death sentences of 37 convicted felons on federal death row, an act that the ACLU has pushed for months.  Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, one of the more liberal members of congress, extolled the act. In the NY Post: Pressley, 50, described the 82-year-old commander in chief’s decision to spare d...

The Constitutionist Newsletter --  December 22, 2024  For the last three days I have been attending the America Fest in Phoenix, listening to some fantastic speakers and enjoying talking to the vendors and the gigantic crowd of attendees.  It has been wonderful.  If you go to amfest dot com you can click a link to show all the speakers; virtually every conservative speaker was there.  Below is Glenn Beck talking to Sage Steele and Kari Lake being interviewed by Breitbart News.  Kari looks great, but I do not understand why wealthy people, like Glenn, wear trashy jeans with holes in their knees.  That style of dress would better suit Kamala Harris.…just sayin’.    On the main stage, Glenn Beck showed his version of a political spectrum, from left to right, and how certain political philosophies were plotted on the graph. As his foundation, he judged politics from total government control on the right, to anarchy, no-government, on the left. ...

December 11, 2024 So, FBI director Christopher Wray has resigned, obviously sensing the inevitable firing two minutes after the inauguration. I wonder how many other agents are writing resumes now.  These two Internet memes illustrate the upcoming change better than others:   Obviously, the Biden presidency sought to vandalize every sector of society and government in their reach.  As our massive federal government returns to a logical course and displaces all the perverts, we know they will complain and act like a bunch of flopping soccer players.  Sorry, but that’s progress. Sports Break:  Many of you know that I worked with sports for many years, mainly at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.  Officially, I did the administrative photo work for USA Basketball, the passports, team photos, etc.; I often did some work for other sports and met many Olympians. While we were preparing our 1988 Olympic Basketball Team for sendoff, every basket...

New Powers Judging Old Powers December 7, 2024  In the next few weeks, we will focus on empowered politicians abusing their authority. This subject will be divided into two camps.  The first will be the new president righting the abuse of Biden and his democrats over the last four years. The second will be the pelosified media and other cult groups claiming that president 47 is abusing his authority by correcting the abuse of the democrats’ authority. This is going to be rich.  One of the rich issues will be Biden’s pardon of his son, which was more of an inoculation than a pardon. His hope was to stop the discovery and investigation into Hunter’s other possible crimes, which may likely lead to criminal associations with his father.   I do not think that the pardon will stop the new Department of Justice.  That entire pardon, which may or may not have severable elements, may end up in the Supreme Court.  How many of you believe that Joe Biden was the...
The Holiday Gatherings:  A Question for Those Democrat Friends December 3, 2024 Steven Maikoski (constitutionist@protonmail.com) During the holidays we will have some uncomfortable company, I mean those people who have lost the ability to think beyond their delusions of political supremacy. We know what I am talking about, there’s no need to labor the point. Just before thanksgiving I started addressing political differences in a new way.  It has worked well, so I’m going to pass this along, hoping that it works as well for you. The starting point is that most of the democrats believe they are better than the conservatives, often because they consider themselves to be smarter, better educated and more reasonable than any conservative.  I decided to cater to their feelings by using a Socratic method: ask questions. Their self-delusion provides an opening for a question or two from a person who wants to understand their politics.  Help me understand you… a. Do...

December 1, 2024 On Monday, an 18-story building in San Francisco will be formally dedicated as the “Speaker Nancy Pelosi Federal Building.”  It was built in 2007 and has housed many federal offices for years. To note the new name on the building, it will have its signage changed, sort of getting a new facelift. Wow!  My last newsletter produced zero replies.  Usually, I have ten or more responses within a day from sending a newsletter out, but I received no response from what I thought was an important subject. Maybe it wasn’t a good message for Thanksgiving. Computers:  I have an Apple MacBook Pro, an excellent computer.  But with Apple’s new update, the dictation system is near perfect.  As you talk, it types what you said. It can miss a bit of punctuation and sometimes types gonna instead of going to, but is the best dictation system that I’ve used.  If you have trouble typing, you may wish to check these computers out; their MacBook Airs are just ...
