Truth in Politics #1 – October 31, 2024

The falsehoods put out by the democrat campaign machine have shocked me. Their false claims are not fair to any of the voters, so they need to be examined, and the truth brought to light.

What follows are some of their claims and the clarifications.

• Trump outlawed abortion or installed Justices that would outlaw abortion.   This is a double lie that was used to create a campaign issue concerning women’s rights.  

The SCOTUS decision on Roe versus Wade in 1973 twisted the Constitution’s intent to make abortion a constitutionally protected procedure. The protests over that decision were immediate, because the 10th Amendment to our Constitution clearly states that if an issue is not covered in the Constitution, the power to decide belongs to the States or the people.  Our founders wanted to limit the nationalization of many issues and believed that each state should provide a haven for its own people and their own beliefs. 

The SCOTUS decision in 2022 properly ruled in this matter; each state now decides the abortion issue on its own.  What is wrong with that?  Plenty, if you want supreme power and an immense, controlling government.

• Trump is a Fascist.  Every democrat I have talked to believes that Trump is a fascist, but every democrat I have talked to cannot explain what fascism actually IS.  

Fascism is a form of government that allows the private sector to remain private but is controlled by the government.  Fascism can be managed by many systems, such as a dictator, council or democratic vote.  

The United States created a part-fascist government back in 2010 when it put our massive, private health care industry under government control with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Why didn’t the fight against fascism start then?  Perhaps it was part of their long-term design?

The bottom line here is almost comical:  ANTIFA, with its unruly and often violent and destructive protests, reminiscent of the Nazi brown-shirts of the late 1930’s, is actually pro-fascist -- but doesn’t realize it.  They need to study history and governments in general.

• Trump is a Nazi. If you have read and understood the previous section, you should realize this powerful allegation is untrue.  But does this new knowledge change your political path; does it matter?  After all is said and read, your politics is more than a matter of opinion, because it reveals your character.

December 1, 2024 On Monday, an 18-story building in San Francisco will be formally dedicated as the “Speaker Nancy Pelosi Federal Building.”  It was built in 2007 and has housed many federal offices for years. To note the new name on the building, it will have its signage changed, sort of getting a new facelift. Wow!  My last newsletter produced zero replies.  Usually, I have ten or more responses within a day from sending a newsletter out, but I received no response from what I thought was an important subject. Computers:  I have an Apple MacBook Pro, an excellent computer.  But with Apple’s new update, the dictation system is near perfect.  As you talk, it types what you said.
