Truth in Politics – #3 – November 2, 2024
The false claims broadcast by the democrats are not fair to any of the voters, so the content of these advertisements must be examined and the truth brought to light.
What follows are 2 of their claims and the clarifications.
• Republicans Voting for the Democrat. In two states I am seeing campaign advertisements featuring persons who claim to be republicans, saying they will not vote for their party’s candidate. They state that the democrats are the better candidates so they will vote for them. But these people are deliberately misrepresenting the character and politics of the republicans, especially concerning Social Security, and they hide some very important differences.
I should first explain there is not much difference between the general republicans and democrats who have been in office for years. Both parties have increased our national debt by a horrendous amount; and while doing so, they have gained a great deal of personal wealth—millions of dollars per year—from other sources.
Something is very wrong here.
These politicians have manipulated our federal government to grow far beyond its limited design. They have created a federal machine for elected and appointed officials to gain great wealth, power and favor over many businesses and foreign nations. This group is known as The Swamp.
The MAGA movement wants to change this power structure by cutting out unnecessary bureaus, decentralize many government bureaus by moving them to other States, and returning many federal powers to the State level.
So, those life-long republicans who claim they will vote for democrats, are, in reality, being true to their swamp party and the horrible debt and inefficiency it has created. Remember, it is the SWAMP versus MAGA. Vote Wi$ely.
• The Electoral College should be closed. This is an important mechanism created by our Founding Fathers to prevent one or more populous States from having more power in the election process than several smaller States. By design, the Electoral College orders the States to choose the President, not the popular vote.
The Electoral College is one of the principal elements in our republican form of government, along with the separation of powers. Closing it would result in our nation's descent into anarchy.
