President's Day and the Limbaugh Memorial Day are the same this year.

The Deep State is finally getting the attention it does not want. Watching the news has been exhilarating. I smile, elated at what is being reported. Finally, the government’s course of horrible waste and abuse is being corrected—and that correction continues to be larger than I expected—and I expected a LOT.

The gargantuan flow of taxpayer money to unaccountable, sinister accounts has revealed itself to be beyond my worst expectations. Last night, I listened to an interview with our new Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who impressed me with his reasoning and knowledge.

Here is the LINK

Marco explained how the Panamanian government violated their treaty with the U.S., then spoke of some problems with USAID, whose officers continued sending billions of dollars despite Trump’s orders to stop!  It left me shaking my head.  Some of those people should go to jail.

Rubio’s interview is 19 minutes long and worth viewing.  Imagine Rubio going to Panama and speaking to the politicians in their language!

Well planned, DJT!

How corrupt are the swampers? There are amazing reports on the Internet about the net worth of some members of Congress, which I could not verify.  One claimed that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as a bartender, had a net worth of $15,000 before she was elected—but now is worth over $20 million.  Some fact-checkers dispute that claim, which makes sense to me because a congress critter would not dare to amass such quick wealth while in office; it’s when they leave Congress that the wealth skyrockets—and it does skyrocket.

Perhaps someone knows what credit AOC has earned in her off-the-record retirement account.
When Barack Obama entered the private sector, he became rich—well over $70 million rich. His new wealth comes from personal appearances, book sales, and speeches, which to me is a polite form of post-presidential money laundering. Hunter Biden’s art sales have been another method of getting payola, with ten percent going to the big guy.  Bill Clinton prospered after his presidency; he has a net worth of $240 million, and I suspect he has more in the way of benefits and favors.

And we are to believe that these people are politicians who happen to be incredibly smart investors?
I expect DOGE to investigate these post-politician gains after they comb through the governmental agencies.

Expect a counterattack.  Good reader John Coppedge sent a link to a New York Times Opinion column, where they laid the groundwork against Trump’s extremist, reckless, and illegal campaign against our democracy.  They claim that Trump abhors independent voices, wonders if he will rename the Panama Canal to the American Canal, and worries about his style of censorship, especially if he targets their love channel, National Public Radio.

NPR is filled with arrogance.  They have programs: Real News for Real People, and All Things Considered (three lies in three words).

Constitutionally speaking, the entire tax-funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting should be closed.  PBS sends funding to over 1,500 public radio and television stations, which means that they can orchestrate a lot of protests as the dollars dry up. Sesame Street will then flip the Big Bird to all the Trump supporters.

You can imagine the children being told to say: “Mommy, Daddy, Trump is a bad man!”

The cackling women on “The View” wonder why there is no powerful protest movement against Trump’s actions. Not one of them could understand the difficulty of playing the victim as the DOGE team uncovers the trillions of dollars of wasteful spending.

The ACLU is also on the march, focusing on their protection of abortion and transsexualism while they claim all are constitutional rights.  Obviously, their audience still does not understand the relevance of our Tenth Amendment.

Those displaced federal workers, the undocumented bureaucrats, may have a difficult time finding a new job.  Saturday Night Live could have a comedy skit on such a job interview.

Snappy Comeback:  Musician David Bowie was talking about a time when the Rolling Stones were playing one of their early gigs in Hollywood.  Someone yelled at Mick Jagger, “Get a haircut!”  Mick looked at the man, then said, “What? And look like you?”

Question:  How many of you contact your members of Congress on important issues?  Email communications are easy, and they are counted.  Written postal mail is still read and counted.  I ask this because one of my readers, Mike, asked me if I could suggest times to contact our members of congress about some issues.

When I helped in my old congressman’s office, I realized that he received more critical mail than conservative support letters.  One of the staff told me that the liberals are very focused,  whereas the conservatives just believe the congressman should do his job.  Liberals want things from government.  Conservatives want to be left alone.

I believe we should encourage them to support our President.

Please let me know what you think!

Steve
