When Mark Steyn guest-hosted the Rush Limbaugh show during the Obama days, he noted how the sign of success in that society was not a person being the CEO of a big company, or a successful business owner—the success model was now a person who held a federal job with all its influence, benefits and job security.
What a change twenty days makes!
Trump’s makeover of these once prized jobs is becoming known as the Trumpocalypse. Over 40,000 federal workers had accepted early buy-outs in the first twenty days of 47’s management.
Why is this happening?
Trump’s team had years to plan for these actions. One of their brilliant moves was to immediately replace the political appointees in jobs that did not need Senate confirmation. They went in immediately after Trump took his oath of office.
This gave me a vision of a corps of people in track uniforms, racing to the desks and unfolding their powerful laptop computers while pointing the dismissed bureaucrats to the door; who then sheepishly shuffled out of the federal building—surrendering their credentials as they left.
Months before the inauguration, the MAGA team had put together a team of computer sleuths that developed several software algorithms to find suspicious payouts. One of those was designed to search the system for the sources of outgoing payments that should not have been made—because of Trump’s spending freeze—then focused on those sources for their other disbursements. That led to the discovery of funding streams that had been buried for years.
Trump’s team has revealed how wasteful our federal government has been, but that waste was quickly overshadowed by the corruption. Count on this being a focus of the new Department of Justice.
No Males in Female Sports: Trump framed the signing ceremony with children surrounding him as he explained how he was protecting them. It sent a powerful message to the world. When I saw this, I realized that Biden would not have been allowed to do something like that.
Fighting Back: The fascist-democrats are in a panic as the truth leaks out. They must change the dialogue to portray themselves as the victims of the Maga-march. But as more corruption is discovered, they are changing the dialogue to claim that the voters are the victims. Washington Post’s Gene Robinson wrote the following:
“…The GOP’s failure goes far beyond Senate confirmations. With Trump’s blessing, the unelected and unaccountable Musk is trying to decimate and ultimately destroy the nonpartisan civil service, without a peep of protest from Republicans. Foreign aid programs that long enjoyed bipartisan support have been axed — and only Democrats complain. Trump seizes powers that the Constitution clearly gives to Congress, not the president — and Republicans in Congress pretend not to notice.
Rather than push back, leaders of Trump’s party lavish him with North Korean-style praise. I’m confident that if the top Republicans in Congress were meeting with Trump and the president accidentally spilled Diet Coke on his red necktie, they would all promptly spill Diet Coke on their red neckties, too.”
I counted 9 lies in that first paragraph, and he fantasizes about “North Korean praise” and diet coke empathy spills! The fascist-democrats rely heavily on personal attacks.
Just yesterday (2-9-2025), The Wall Street Journal’s Allyssia Finley wrote a beautiful rebuttal to the democrat’s parade of complaints about President Trump. (my emphasis)
“Energy in the Executive is a leading character in the definition of good government,” Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 70. “A feeble Executive” leads to “a feeble execution” and “a bad government.”
The Biden presidency proved the latter point.
“By energy, however, Hamilton meant more than physical and mental vigor. He meant the power to act decisively, including to impose consequences for poor performance or misconduct. A weak executive, Hamilton worried, would paralyze the federal government, defuse political responsibility, undermine national security, and endanger liberty. This is why President Trump’s housecleaning, chaotic as it may be, is essential.

“It’s increasingly rare that anyone working in federal government is held accountable. “If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot,” Mr. Biden promised on taking office. Yet Mr. Biden was loath to fire his appointees no matter their blunders. He even let Martin Gruenberg remain as chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. despite an independent audit last year that documented his personal outbursts and profanity against colleagues.”

The accountability is now a focus in government because of its change in management--and every day they uncover more waste and corruption.
I’m enjoying this.
