What constitutes a fascist government?

A search of references produces a variety of definitions and examples; one historian claimed that trying to define fascism was like trying to nail jelly to the wall. However, the main component of fascism is easily identifiable: it is a government that allows the private sector of the economy to remain private but is controlled by the government.

Although dictators ruled two wartime fascist governments, a fascist government may be managed by a dictator, a council, such as a group of senators, a president,  a popular vote or other means.  The main feature of a fascist government is the relationship between the private sector and the government; it does not have to be run by a dictator.

The makeup of a fascist government can take many forms, and fascism may take its place as a faction within a national government,

Various writings have associated national fascism with militarism, autocracy, control of the media, the superiority of a nation, and the regimentation of a society. Political factions within a free nation may emulate these properties with slight changes, such as using lawfare instead of militarism, feigning superiority of the party instead of the nation at large, controlling education and media, and organizing groups that manipulate society by protests and riots.  All of these have been done over the last twenty years.

The most significant move toward fascism in the United States was in the year 2010 when the government seized control of the medical professions in a law frequently referred to as Obamacare. Strangely, around the same time, a group named Antifa became active and grew.  The political powers convinced people that Antifa, by its name alone, was anti-fascist. But, by the group’s supporting big government programs, including a lack of accountability, and opposing our government’s constitutional foundation showed that they were clearly not anti-fascist.

This counter-naming was a brilliant political move by the leftist cult.  Many people still believe the anti-fascist moniker.

In the last few years, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and other groups (pro-abortion, gay, transsexual rights, No-ICE, Defund the Police, environmentalism, and national health care) have created demonstrations, protests, and some rioting against political figures and innocent people in several cities. Their process copied the political machine that the Nazis of Germany had developed, known as the Brownshirts.  To make matters worse, some members of Congress have encouraged these groups and individuals to get into the faces of Republican officials—to organize crowds against them and let them know they are unwelcome in stores and restaurants.

Protesting just isn’t enough for them. The democrats are using their political organizing to drive up the anger and hatred to extreme levels against their republican counterparts, especially President Trump.  A recent survey revealed that over 50% of the democrats believed that assassinating the president would be justified.

And the MAGA people are the tyrants?

At some point, the citizen democrats will finally understand the evil path that the democrat party is using.  The Republicans aren’t the bad guys, and the Democrats are not the good guys. We need to focus on our constitutional foundation if we are to survive.
