There’s Too Much Hatred Going On: A month ago I read of the 8647 movement, advocating the removal of President Donald (47) Trump, by murder or other means. James Comey, the FBI guy that spied on Trump’s campaign and was fired by Trump, recently posted that 8647 image on his Instagram channel; quickly deleting it and claiming that he didn’t know what it meant.
Yeah, sure. Every law enforcement official understands the numerology.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem indicated that the Secret Service is now involved in the matter.
Washington, D.C. Culture: Several years ago, I was on assignment in Washington, D.C., to photograph a team selection for USA Basketball. Spare time was scarce, but on one day, I had the time to stop by a local McDonald’s for a quick meal. It was very busy, but I managed to get my food and settle at a long table among other customers. Suddenly, there was yelling between two obese women customers and a worker. Another woman behind them started telling them to shut up, and the situation escalated as they started shoving each other and exchanging barbs.
These antics reminded me of our congressmen, who were just a few blocks away.
Anyway, the woman seated next to me looked at the fracas, shrugged, then went back to eating. I asked her if this event was a common occurrence. “It happens every day,” was her reply. ---- Welcome to Washington, DC.
It hasn’t changed since then. A McDonald’s in nearby Fairfax County has banned under-21-year-olds from indoor dining “after “repeated incidents of student violence.” Adults must ring a doorbell to be let in by staff.
The restaurant posted: “The decision was made to protect our staff, our guests, and our community. Adults — we are still here to serve you! Please ring the doorbell, and a member of our team will assist you. We thank you for understanding as we work to keep our restaurant a safe and welcoming place for all. Management.”
The politicians are contributing (promoting?) to this social decay. They are national figures of leadership, so their get-in-the-face-of-your-opponent advice, along with their constant amplification of social and racial divisions, has been broadcast repeatedly for all to see. That inculcation has had its results.
Those politicians, especially Jasmine Crockett, need to clean up their acts and stop encouraging division, anger and violence.
While on DC, Arizona Representative Eli Crane is introducing legislation to enhance the Capitol area’s drone defense systems and law enforcement’s ability to quickly address any drone threats.
His announcement: “Given the dangerous capabilities of unmanned aircraft and credible threats against elected officials and their constituents, the Capitol Police must have the ability to immediately neutralize potential attacks. By allowing USCP to take decisive action, this bill reinforces security and serves as a strong deterrent.”
The small drones are cheap and pose a significant advancement in weaponry, well proven by Ukraine’s highly successful drone attacks on Russian armored vehicles. Swarms of drones may be the future of warfare in all areas, including naval, land, and air combat. They pose a serious threat.
Congressman Eli Crane, the bill’s sponsor, is a former Navy Seal. I hope to meet him soon.
Marjorie Taylor Greene was on the Wilkow Majority a couple of days ago and said some things that bear reporting.
“I think democrats would love to start a race war in America, and that’s why you’re seeing them take on issues like they are. And they’re trying to say that its similar to civil rights issues, they’re trying to make it about these helpless migrants that are being round up by the Trump administration. They want nothing more than videos of lawmakers of color fighting with police officers, because they would like to create that type of uprising in our country. And we can’t give it to them.”

“I have to say this. Congress receives a failing grade. Because in the House and the Senate, we have not codified President Trump’ great executive orders. We have not passed any of the recission that DOGE has made these incredible CUTS on and we are making progress, but we still haven't finished our reconciliation bill…”
Her point about not having codified laws that give force to Trump’s Executive Orders is very important. The republicans must unify in this effort, or else it’s just talk.
Confession, Homan style: Possibly the funniest answer I have heard lately was from Tom Homan, when some reporter asked him what he thought about the new Pontiff’s opinions on the border crackdown. Homan was quick to point out that the Pope should fix his church first. Tom explained that he was a long-time Catholic in the Latin mass (I was too: ad Deum qui laetificat juventutem meam) and that the Pope has a wall around Vatican City, to protect his people and himself, so he should stick to fixing his church and let us protect ourselves.
