Back around 2005, I met a writer many of you know, Burt Prelutsky.  Burt wrote for many Hollywood shows, Mary Tyler Moore, Dragnet, Diagnosis Murder, M*A*S*H, and more, but he also wrote about conservative politics; he was a rare person in Hollywood. 

I recently re-read one of his finer writings, a book “LIBERALS: America’s Termites” in which he explained:

Unlike hurricanes, cyclones, earthquakes, and other such phenomena, which are defined as acts of God in your homeowners insurance policy, termites can wreak equal amounts of structural damage without making a lot of noise as they go about their nefarious business.  So it is with liberals – whether they’re calling themselves Socialists, progressives, radicals, or just plain Democrats, this particular week.”

Burt started off his book with his observations about the scam of a college education, and he did it well.

Still countless American families are mortgaging their homes and future solvency so that their kids can attend college. Unlike waterboarding, which serves a higher purpose, there is simply no excuse for mortar-boarding.

Frankly, I’m not certain just when it became so darn imperative for every 18 year-old to traipse off to some ivy-walled ivory tower. I understand colleges and universities serving as trade schools for such occupations as engineering, physics architecture, and medicine. But why are all those other people hanging around, wasting their parents hard earned cash? It can’t merely be to fill those stands at football and basketball games, but perhaps the answer really is as simple as that.

It seems obvious to me that our education system, which cost us billions and billions of dollars, is a wreck. While not all of it is the fault of the teachers’ unions, affirmative, action, bi-lingual education, and the emphasis on promoting self-esteem and youngsters, a lot of it is.  But if there it was any one thing I could change tomorrow, it’s the looney notion that everyone should get a college degree.

PG Barnum, in his famous reference to suckers, remarked that there was one born every minute. He was wrong, of course. As the world of academia approves conclusively, its far more frequently than that.

As a result, the biggest con game, the slickest racket, in America is the so-called College education.

I feel silly, even referring to it as an education.”

This makes me wonder if Charlie Kirk had read this book.   Charlie would have been only eight years old when this book was published.  

EMPOWERING the un-powered:  The Democrat party has gotten crafty in its political tactics.  It is obvious that it has lost their majority in some areas and swelled the republican’s popularity in others, but they are driving up the anger with their party faithful—on purpose—and for a reason.  

I’ll explain the process first.

The starting point for their emotional escalation began in Trump’s first term, with the investigations by Robert Mueller.  They produced nothing but a clean record of Trump, but Mueller claimed the lack of evidence of any wrongdoing did not exonerate Trump.  

In the real world, that is a “not guilty” finding. 

The attacks on Trump received a major boost from the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade, which handed the abortion issue to each individual State to decide.  Although that is the proper constitutional course for our government, it was a big issue with the liberal cult, so somebody on the court leaked the information to the public before the official finding was released.

Their team, which involves the democrat leadership and their minions in the press and liberal TV shows, played the SCOTUS decision as Trump’s order (it wasn’t) and a loss of an important constitutional right of the people.  The words started to fly around all communication channels: Authoritarian! Fascist! Unconstitutional! Dictator! Theocracy! Our democracy was under attack!

Some people take these words seriously, people like Thomas Matthew Crooks, Nicholas Roske, Ryan Routh, James T. Hodgkinson, and Tyler Robinson.  All these people were quiet, off-the-map type people who decided that murder was the solution. 

It is logical to assume that someone got to them and encouraged their actions. 

So, what do we have here?  This is not the typical Republican versus Democrat tussle.  After Kirk’s murder and two attempts at Trump, the democrats are continuing the hate-filled spirit, blaming the republicans for the government shutdown.  I listened to Hakeem Jefferies lie about the Republicans’ power in the issue, not informing people that the Democrats were using their cloture powers to force the shutdown.  He also said that the republicans were giving money to their billionaire friends while cutting services to the poor.

Obviously, they want to keep driving up the hatred, and its for the good of their party, not this nation.

There are forces within that party that want conservatives taken out to the bone orchard.  They want them dead.  All the democrats have to do is find some fools who will do the deed. 

Below is a screenshot from my Facebook feed that illustrates their hatred of Trump and their twisted ideas of his thoughts.  I will send this to the FBI and the United States Secret Service, as I believe these two individuals pose a potential threat to our president and his officers.

My Absence: Last week, I contracted a virus that left me completely drained.  There were times when I could be active for an hour, but then I would spend the rest of the day resting. The Doctor did a Covid test and a chest x-ray.  It’s not Covid; just a good virus.  I’m still congested and somewhat weak.  

The National Football League is stuck on creepy halftime shows for the Super Bowl. This year they got stranger, as they selected a Spanish-speaking androgenous rapper, Bad Bunny. His show is not family-friendly, so Turning Point, USA, has said they will be broadcasting a competing show at the same time, “The All-American Halftime Show,” which promises to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.

In other words, it is a total rejection of the NFL's gangsta filth. 

This concept is interesting because it will affect the advertising rates of the Super Bowl game and possibly the content of the next Super Bowl show.
